5 Days Amboseli Tsavo West Tsavo East Safari

Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today’s schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to camp late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. you will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you can opt to visit a Masai village or take a walk before departing for Tsavo West National Park. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival, check into your camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Tsavo West, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, including the Shetani Lava Flow, Mzima Springs, and the stunning Chyulu Hills. The park is known for its big tuskers, as well as lions, leopards, and rhinos. In the evening, return to your camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West, taking in the beauty of the park as the sun rises. After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Tsavo East National Park, a drive of about 2 to 2.5 hours. Arrive in time for lunch at your camp, then head out for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East, known for its red elephants and vast open spaces. Explore the park’s diverse habitats and watch for lions, leopards, and a variety of other wildlife. Return to your camp in the evening at around 5:30- 6 PM, freshen up. Enjoy delicious dinner and a relaxing evening.

On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo East, soaking in the last moments of your safari adventure. After breakfast, begin the drive to Mombasa, which takes about 5 to 5.5 hours. Arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
